
Bruno Räss
After graduating in 1987 with a lic. oec. HSG degree from the University of St. Gallen, with a specialization in auditing and fiduciary services, Bruno Räss began his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC), where he worked for over 34 years. In 1990, he obtained the qualification of Swiss Certified Public Accountant. From 2003 to 2020, he headed the Audit Division for Trade, Industry, Services, and Public Administration at the St. Gallen and Chur offices, and from 2003 to 2010, he also served as Managing Partner of PwC’s St. Gallen office. In addition, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of PwC Switzerland from July 2010 to June 2019, and a member of the „Family Business & Middle Market Leading Board“ of PwC Switzerland from July 2011 to June 2021.
Since July 2021, Bruno Räss has been working independently as a business consultant, focusing on corporate advisory, succession planning, business transactions, and coaching. From January 2022 to March 2025, he also served as a consultant at Bratschi AG in St. Gallen. Furthermore, he is actively involved in various boards of directors and executive committees.
